"Start spreading the news, I'm leaving today... "

RIGHT

OK

Today is the day: My last day in Wonga Park for nine months! Dad was out there making minestrone soup for lunch and cooking spaghetti bolognaise for dinner and everything is far too normal given the fact that my cushy little comfort zone is about to blown open!

I have squeezed everything into my backpack and apparently my life for the next nine months comes to the grand total of 13.8kgs.. And the biggest part of my life? (if measured by weight) is apparently toilitries and my sneakers! No -despite my pink blog- i am not taking one of those cute ittle hairdryers from Kathmandu along with 365 days worth of cosmetics, it's all just shampoo bottle, antispectic cream and bandaids, i swear! Anyhoo, am rambling and my poor very patient beau is sitting out on the couch trying to find something on daytime TV to watch while i run around like a crazy lady sneaking in the odd budget re-calcualtions on the side (i have done this 20 billiongazillion times) SO i better get back to it... this is fun though. and addictive. do you think i should take the red shoes or the black ones? OK. time to do my tax and get all the horrible stuff you do before you leave and have the time of your life, like pay phone bills and STRESSSSSSSSSSSS and freak out that you are going to robbed in the first five minutes or break your leg on something really unglamorous like the airport escalator and have to cancel your whole trip. ENOUGH! am leaving now.. but i will be back.

'Till my first London post- see ya later mate!!

I can't believe how quickly your leaving day has come around! I just hope October 1 (the day i fly to London) will come around just as quickly. Well, its only been literally hours since i said goodbye at the airport, and then couldn't resist to call you when i got dropped at home by your dad, but i can honestly say that the reality of you being so far away is starting to kick in. Not something i will dwell on, but instead something to get excited about. Already i have had a great ol' laugh at you blog. Classic!
Be careful of airport escalators. Once you get the hang of them it will be all a great adventure, I'm sure. Can't wait to join you on it!!!
    Love James
